Reactive printingis characterized by no plate making, directly spraying ink imaging on fabrics and clothes, saving plate making time and costs, and shortening production time. Now, let's understand the advantages and disadvantages of reactive printing.
1. Suitable for small batch and urgent orders. Traditional rotary, flat screen, and round screen printing require plate making or mesh making, while inkjet printing does not require plate making, saving production time. In addition, if there is an error in the color separation file of the pattern that needs to be modified, traditional printing requires modification or re-plate making, while inkjet printing only needs to modify the color separation file, which is quick, convenient, and cost-effective.
2. High degree of design freedom, with no restrictions on traditional production colors and returns. Traditional printing has 6 colors, 8 colors, 12 colors, and round screen printing can have many colors, but it is limited by the number of screens and cannot be increased indefinitely. A typical inkjet printer uses four-color processing with three primary colors (cyan, magenta, yellow) plus black, but theoretically, the colors of an inkjet printer can reach 16.7 million based on color overlap and combination. Currently, Stork's inkjet printer uses 8 colors to achieve 12 monochrome prints without depth through primary color processing and 4-8 fabric-specific colors, which closely meet the actual needs of fabric printing. In terms of pattern repeat, the size of round/flat screens cannot be expanded indefinitely, so the size of unit patterns is limited, with round screens generally being 64cm or 72cm in repeat. However, inkjet printing is not restricted and can produce dozens of meters of patterns with just a few centimeters.

4. For post-printing summary, round/flat screen printing generally requires drying after printing, followed by steaming, washing, and setting, consuming a large amount of water, steam, and other energy.
