What are the active printing processes?

What are the active printing processes? What is the active printing process? Through continuous observation in practice, several commonly used active printing processes have been discovered. Coating printing is one of the fabric printing process methods. Paint differs from dye in that it does not have a direct affinity for fibers. It cannot bond with fibers. It is merely an insoluble colored powder, mostly organic compounds, but also includes inorganic materials. The principle of 'coloring' the fibers is: synthetic resins that can create hard films are fixed on the fibers and surfaces, allowing various fiber fabrics to be printed.

  Engraving printing

Woodblock printing is reprinted on fabric that can be dyed in advance. That is to say, black fabric can attract white. In weaving, the back of the fabric does not look good, while the back of the engraved fabric is a single color.

  Activity printing

As the name suggests, our printing dye is processed using reactive dyeing. The design elements of reactive printing are diverse. Plant flowers, images, English letters, and color blocks are organically combined to express various design styles through design techniques. This fabric is suitable for a wide range of groups and has a long applicability period. The colors of reactive printed fabrics are bright, colorfast, soft to the touch, do not fade frequently, and can be used for a long time.

Reactive dyeing is also known as reactive dyes. It contains active groups that can react with fiber molecules. During the dyeing and printing process, the active groups of the dye bond with the fiber molecules, forming a whole with the dye and fiber. The fabric has excellent dust resistance, high cleanliness, and does not fade even after prolonged washing.

Reactive printing: Printing formed by the penetration of reactive dyes into the fabric

Paint printing: Printing made by covering the fabric with paint

In contrast, there is a significant difference.

General reactive dyeing is environmentally friendly and harmless to humans, with good color and fabric feel, without a hard or soft sensation.

Foam printing: A printing process with special effects. After coloring the resin paint containing a foaming agent and printing it on the fabric, high-temperature steam causes the printed patterns to bubble, creating an embossed effect.

Penetration printing: Generally, the color and pattern of the fabric are primarily based on the underside, with no requirements for the back of the fabric. However, as clothing and handkerchiefs require printed fabrics to have a basically consistent color on both sides, there is double-sided printing in cotton fabric dyeing. A penetration agent is added to the silk printing paste to lower the platen temperature, allowing the printing paste on the front of the fabric to penetrate to the back, achieving a basically consistent color effect on both sides. This printing process method is called penetration printing.
